About this space
Lovely 3 bedroom apartment with 1 ensuite bathroom and 1 shared bathroom. Each bedroom has a double bed.
4 minutes walk from Newcastle Central Train Station, 1 minute walk to Bigg Market. A variety of bars, restaurants on doorstep. 2 small balconies for the flat where smoking and vaping is allowed (but not in the flat itself).
Please note that as in most city centre apartments, some noise should be expected. Although the apartment is adjacent to a narrow lane with hardly any traffic, noise can be expected from passers by and night revellers, We do provide earplugs although we highly recommend noise cancelling earphones if you have them, don’t forget to bring them along if you are a light sleeper.
The space
The property is in an apartment block built in the late nineties. It is on the third floor of the building which can be accessed via a lift or stairs. The main entrance is in Pudding Chare, and there is an entrance code to the main door.
Guest access
The apartment block is situated in the corner of Pudding Chare and St. John’s Street. Parking is available on both of the streets. There is also a small NCP car park on St.John’s Street ( right next to the apartment block) which can work out much cheaper and more than the Council street parking ( maximum one hour for Council street parking. If you wish to park in the NCP car park, make sure you download the NCP app beforehand, as many problems has been encountered about downloading this app. Once it downloaded it is a breeze to use. Rates are around £2.70 per hour or £16 for 24 hours. The Council street parking are around £2.70 per hour , although it is free between 7 pm and 7 am. (Please check the exact details on the boards as I cannot take responsibility for the accuracy of the cost and times I mentioned as it could change anytime)
If you arrive by train at the Central Station, it is only a 4 minute walk once you leave the station. Turn right as you leave the station, look out for a monument across the road. You will see Nando’s to the right of the monument. The lane between Nando’s and Revolution Bar is Pudding Chare lane.
